BFI LFF 2026 Planner Information
One year later and BFI London Film Festival 2026 is upon us.
This page is to supplment the BFI LFF 2026 Planner on https://lff-planner.co.uk. It will explain some of the new features that I have introduced for 2026 including how we calculate timings between locations and total run time.
2026 New Features
I have added the following new features for 2026:
- Redesign visual infrastructure
- Event type filtering added
- Browse and scheduling tabs added
- Browsing schedules now default to a list format
- Browsing schedules can be toggled to classic card format
- Filter status is visible
- Better dark-mode colours
Total Run Time
We use the following additional time, in addition to the film/event run time. When you see the end times on the BFI LFF 2026 Planner, it is inclusive of these times.

These times are based on real personal experiences and the valuable contribution of the BFI Southbank WhatsApp group.
Calculations
The BFI London Film Festival provides the start time and the runtime of the film or duration of an event.
This results in the following calculation:
Start Time + Runtime + Buffer Time = End Time
